Day 363 - 2 Days to Go

OMG, only 2 days left on the BLOG. I'm not sure I'm done. I can't believe I have been been doing this for almost a year. I guess I need to go see a new movie to get a new inspiration and a new goal.
I'll probably continue blogging, but in the way I used to, in my journal. Maybe I'll just jot down a few little ditties on Facebook when the mood hits me.
Today was a very tiring day. Didn't wake up until 8:45 am. The son and I were supposed to be at the soccer field by 9:45, so had to move a little faster than I wanted. Dropped the son off, signed in the kids and headed home. My other option was to go into work at Chapters cards, but will hold off that until tomorrow.
Had a little nap when I got home, then started putting stuff away - stuff from Vegas. I had bought the daughter a beautiful top. When we were in the mile shops on the strip (originally looking for a bathroom) this top just called out and said "Your daughter would love me." Now I don't normally buy clothes for my kids, but the daughter likes halter tops where she is able to show her tatoo. So I bought this shirt. Then I was in a dillema (sp). Now the son will need something. Bought him a shirt from another store on the strip - white. I don't normally buy white shirts because to me, well, they don't stay white for long. But I know that is his favorite, so bought it. Also got some clothes put in the dirty clothes. Then I came across a couple of CD's that I had bought.
De and I were heading back to our hotel Saturday night, walking the strip on the Treasure Island side (we called it the friendlier side). We had found a gentleman of a bigger stature than us and were using him as our shield. He would walk and the crowd just parted, so we followed him and got on quite a roll. Then we came to an open space. There were a couple of "brothers" promoting their CD's. Now I had made it through the entire weekend without dropping any money for charity. These guys were hillarious. One of them said he had been in this old band (the name eludes me right now), but he didn't look old enough to be in the Backstreet Boys, nevermind the older band he named. But I stopped and listened. The CD's were free; they were accepting donations for the CD's. Two different guys; two different CD's. I asked if they were RAP and they said no, Rock and Roll. So $20.00 later, a hug and a "Oh your man is lucky!" comment. We left. I'm not sure where De was and why she didn't stop me from parting with my gambling money!!!!!! By now we had lost our shield and I was out 20.00 but had some rock and roll to share with my kids when I got home. For the rest of the trip, De tried to convince me, they were probably blank CD's. Well I'm proud to day, they were not blank CD's. There was music on them. RAP music and let me just say, the only time I usually enjoy RAP is when I can't understand the lyrics. I could understand these ones, and you could tell they depicted the life of these two gentleman in there home in Las Vegas. A little too smutty for my taste; but they did sing on key, and the music was good; and best of all, they weren't blank (I think that's good)
Da Hav Knots is one of the guys. He actually has a My Space web site. I guess one can never have too many coasters!!!!! Sorry I can't even bring myself to listen to the entire CD.

BODY: Got my 10,000 steps in. Not sure I'll ever get up to 28,000 in one day again.

MIND: Louise Hay "My Higher Self pilots my life!" And right now I am on auto-pilot!

Good Night
Stacey
