Day 5 of June

Some times I can go days without writing in the blog (De) and other times, there seems like things need to be put in.
This is one of those times.....
I crossed another item off my 50 list last night. I played an entire game of Monopoly until the very end. I could only convince Patrick to play - Ashley went to bed and Bill was watching a movie. The game didn't last as long as I thought (I really shouldn't have traded in my Granville Iland - Cdn version - which is like Park Place in the original version) to Patrick. The brat put up hotels on the two properties and I had to pay between 1500 and 2000 every time I landed there. Talk about stress. Every time I got close, I was wishing, sending out vibes to land on go... you name it. Well in the end, I had to sell my houses, mortgage my properties and eventually I went bankrupt. So the only positive thing to come out of the game for me was - it has been crossed off my list, and I can move on to other games. Actually getting my son to play a game with me was also a bonus. I hope Patrick is as thrifty and smart minded with real assets as he was in the game.
Well we are off for tea with Bill's Dad for Father's Day! Happy Father's Day to all the Father's out there.
