Blog 4 of September

Is it really possible that we are half way through September already?  That just doesn't seem right!

 First I want to start by sending out belated birthday wishes to Miss Cheryl.  I have it marked on my calendar and your card hopefully arrived in time.

Next, I want to wish a Happy 24th Anniversary to my sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Anne and Brian.

Yes, 24 years ago they tied the knot.  And just before the bride walked down in the aisle, Bill and I and our baby Ashley, who was just three days old, walked down to find a seat.

Yes Ashley celebrated her 24th birthday on Friday, September 13th.  She had the day off of work and she planned her own party.  First we went horseback riding during the day (I took one for the team and represented the family) and then Ashley has a great group of people over for dinner.  She had friends from Junior High, horseback friends, gym friends, employers...etc.  It was a fun night.
  It was a long day for me.  I was still recovering from the walk, the weekend before.  Then the 1 1/2 horseback ride on a very fat horse (named Homer), and the cooking, etc, I was ready for a nap all weekend.
  Hopefully this week won't be quite a busy and I can catch up on a lot of things.
