It is the 11th of November and I have only blogged three times. So sorry. November 11th. Remembering. I was very impressed to see that when I went to Chapters this morning, they were closed until 11:05.
It was a busy day though. Worked two different stores. Spent 4 hours at Chapters just getting the Christmas stuff set up. Boy was I tired, hungry and thirsty when I got home. I left a note for Patrick to get supper started. The note read, please boil the potatoes - peel them and cut them into quarters. Well obviously I didn't put the instructions in the correct order, because when I came home, the entire potatoes were sitting in a pot of water on the stove. I should have put, please peel and cut into the quarters the potatoes and then put them on the stove to boil!!!! What was I thinking!
I had a wonderful email yesterday. It was from my friend Rose. She invited me on a trip to Mexico in April. Check my calendar - checked Bill's calendar - checked with Bill - he didn't even blink twice, and told me to go!!!! So guess what - I'm going. An entire week. Sun, food, great ladies and a few margaritas!!!!! Cinco de Mayo has come early to the Wee household. Looking forward to it Rose.
Had a wonderful heart to heart talk with the son this afternoon. It's been almost 8 months that he and his girlfriend have been going out. I don't want to betray his confidence, but we are on the same page on alot of things - and I feel our mother-son relationship is a great one! What a son!
Also had a great conversation with Sam's mom. Looks like Sam is moving on and up in January. She is such a great lady. We are so going to ace these next few tests. That means I might actually be down by one job!!! It is one of my favorites...
Now I just trying to get a few things done on the computer. Need to book Ashley's flight home for Christmas - the computer isn't letting me do it, so I'm stuck on hold waiting for help. Also I need to scan some pictures for Ashley. Seems the people at work are planning a surprise for Bill for his 50th and they'd like a few snapshots - Bodybuilding picture maybe!!!!!
We are still snow free, but you can sure feel the snow in the air. Hopefully nothing with materialize until Patrick gets home with my car from his soccer session.
I think that pretty much covers the day. Need to get some knitting down and finish up the Christmas cards.
Night
