Day 8 of November

It's only 10:00 pm, but it feels like midnight. It has been a long day. Was up before the crack of dawn this morning. 6:00 am to be exact. Bill had tickets to a private screening of the new Harry Potter movie. From the crowd response, it was very good. I can't remember if I even seen the last Harry Potter movie. Patrick's girlfriend came in Ashley's place. When we told her she had to pretend to be Ashley, she did a very good job.
Right after the movie, we had to get to the soccer dome for Patrick's soccer game. Thanks to the GPS and the dry roads, we were there in plenty of time. Unfortunately the boys lost - the other team played a much better game - but with the right mentallity and energy, I think our boys could have challenged them for the win. Patrick was happy with his play, so he's off the hook for eating popcorn at 9:30 in the morning!
We dropped Stephanie off at home, and I came home for a snooze. Patrick was supposed to be doing homework and I don't know what Bill got up to. Bill headed out early to hit the gym (doesn't miss a day) and then he was off for an end of season dinner with the rugby guys. I'm sure there will be alot of injury stories to share. So Patrick and I got lazy and ordered Chinese Food. I made sure to order enough for supper tomorrow night as well. Not feeling the cooking this weekend.
Friday night was a bit of a disaster. I had bought our fake tree and Patrick and Stephanie had plans to decorate it. Even with the new stand, the darn thing wouldn't stand up. Talk about frustrating. So we dragged everything back downstairs and I tied it to a hook in the ceiling. Poor pathetic tree. Bill is going to take it out in the garage tomorrow and shoot it out of it's misery. Actually, he's going to take it in the garage and make a stand that would hold up this house. I just had to have the fibre optic tree.
I'm going to focus on having some great energy tomorrow and take mom for groceries - not a big fan of crowds, but somebody's got to do it and Sunday is my only free day this week.
Well, off to work on more Christmas cards.

Night Stacey
