And the last day of November I might add.
Memory: This time last year I was planning a 50th birthday party for Bill. NOT - he wouldn't let me. Considered doing it this year, but one year older does not make for a new party animal.
It has been a busy week. The soccer job has become a little more intense this week. Two of the coaches are away, so with the fill ins, I'm doing a little more jobs outside my comfort zone. Ok, that's not entirely correct - I get to be bossy.
Bill and I had a Grey Cup Party on Sunday. I believe by definition that by having at least two people there (Bill and I) it was a party. We actually sat and watched the entire game. We did split up at half-time to our respected offices, but regrouped when the second half started. When the kids were little, we used to have what we called "picnic suppers"; usually about once a month. It was when we had cold finger food; meats, cheese, crackers, veggies, and fruit on a big try and we got to sit on a blanket on the floor; in front of the tv and eat our supper. The kids loved it and it was our special family time that everyone looked forward to. So thats what Bill and I did for our Grey Cup party; minus the blanket sitting on the floor - hey we've got some nice comfortable lazy boys recliners now!!
Just got off my Facebook page, where I read an amazing article posted by my cousin. If you have young children or know of friends with young children, they will enjoy the read. I've reposted it on Facebook.
Also off to have a belated birthday lunch with my good friend Rose. I had a nice, small breakfast so I could enjoy a big, relaxing lunch.
In addition to my treadmill today, I guess I'll get lots of exercise shovelling the driveway and sidewalk this morning. The big dump was inevitable!
Have a great Wednesday.
Stacey
