Day 7 of July

It's official, Stampede 2012 is over.  Except for the trek to the grounds to see Garth, I didn't even venture down.  I my mind, this now means that summer is 1/2 over.  I know it's only he 16th, but once Stampede is over, the city calms down, and somehow the summer days drift away.  It's funny, when you are a kid, summer seems to last forever.
Had a relatively quiet weekend.  Spent Saturday night babysitting my little ones.
Sunday, Ashley and Ethan ran to Superstore for me to pick up some salmon to take to Robin's.  I couldn't believe my eyes; when they got home, Ethan actually put the groceries away.  I was impressed on one hand, but concerned on the other - he must spend so much time at our place, he actually knows where everything goes!!!!!
Ashley, Ethan and myself headed over to Robin's for a family get together.  Did I mention how big Miss Caylee is getting.  My gosh before long, she is going to be starting school.  She had a good evening considering all the attention was on her.  She is definetly going to be a leader, not a follower; and Alisa as frustrating as that is at this age, it will benefit her when she's in school.
Came home and did some paper work to get ready for my stores in the morning.  Then Monday morning came; I realized I'm in need of more rest so will start my stores tomorrow.  That's why I love this card job.  Very flexible.
So one child left this morning; (working at a BC horse show) and the other child will be home Thursday.  I can't believe it has already been a month since the son left.  I am so excited to hear about his adventure and to see how he looks.  He wasn't going to shave the entire time he was gone, so it should be interesting.
Anyway, treadmill is done, laundry is started, I'm sure it's time for a much needed shower.
Later
Stacey
