Obviously De and Alisa are enjoying my humor. Let's see if they have heard this one:
A new teacher was trying to make use of her psychology courses.
She started her class by saying, "Everyone who thinks you're stupid, stand up!"
After a few seconds, Little Johnny stood up.
The teacher said, "Do you think you're stupid, Little Johnny?"
"No, ma'am, but I hate to see you standing there all by yourself.!"
A busy, busy weekend. Saturday my niece Tracey came over and spent the afternoon with me. We had a great visit. Then Saturday night, I picked my girlfriend Janice up from the airport. She was coming home from San Fransico. We had planned to go out for supper, but her flight kept getting delayed, so by the time she got in, the plans had changed, and we ended up at the "Pig and Whistle!" It took everything in my power not to sing the theme song from that TV show, all night.
Anyhow,,, we met up with some soccer team mates of Janice's and I believe it was around 2:00 am when Ashley came and gave Janice and I a ride back to our place. I only had about 4 or 5 girly drinks all night, but better safe than sorry. So Janice slept on the couch. Oh, did I mention that Bill picked Patrick up at the airport Saturday night as well. He got cut from the soccer tryouts so headed home to do what he does best ----- I'm thinking.......
So Sunday, Ashley gave Janice and I a ride back to my car, and I proceeded to take Janice home. Along the way, plans changed again, and Janice and her soccer buddies wanted to ride the rafts down the river. I needed sleep; so I found a replacement for me - Bill. So we popped quickly into Janice's; dropped off her suitcases; got the raft and accessories and headed back to our place. Bill used his fancy air compressor and filled the rafts and they headed off; Janice, Bill, JB and Bonnie. I got some groceries and grabbed a much deserved nap.
This week is a busy one; 4 stores and Halloween and Thanksgiving stuff to get up. Could Christmas be much farther away.
