I can't believe how many amazing friends and relatives I have. My friend received some of the best advice regarding the "furnace cleaning" . It was all valuable and MY FRIEND was astounded as to the quick wit and level headedness(sp) of my peeps. She decided the simplest advice to follow would have been that of De's "Let them grip and forget about it! They just need to have something to complain about. I'd have done the same thing. Pay for it and get it done right." Again thank you for helping a friend in need. Needless to say, it's been a little quiet in
On another note, I am one of those computer dummies at best, but I love the amazing technology that is out there. It is similar to the fact that I don't drink coffee, but I would love those cute new coffee makers. Anyway I have never wanted anything computer wise that I couldn't handle; but I have recently discovered that I might enjoy an I-Pad. Why now? Because I have seen some amazing apps. that I could use for working with these three siblings - who, I might add, are more technology savy on an I-Pad than I am. I have two dilema's - one I can't work these apps with the kids unless I can learn how to use them myself. And second, it's a little close to the furnace incident to bring up wanting (not needing) an I-Pad! But I'm definetly going to start investigating - hopefully it won't take me five years this time to get results!
And my day started off with a lovely surprise. I was listening to my radio in bed - Country 105 - and they were giving away tickets to see Mary Poppins. You had to listen to the cue to call - and I didn't know what that cue was, when all of a sudden I hear "chim, chiminey, chim chiminey, chim chim charoo...." and as I am singing, I realize this must be the cue to call - so I call! Broadway across Canada - here I come!
What a wonderful Friday! Have a great weekend peeps!
Stacey
