Today I have gone from mechanic to doctor. (I love google). So after my great accomplishment last night, I clean up and get ready for bed. I'm reading my book, and I get this pain in my left side. Without going into all the details of how I tried to remedy it, I finally go downstairs and climb into a hot tub of water. It gave me great relief. Unfortunately I had he water temperature a little to hot, and I was sweating like a pig and couldn't stay in too long. Once I got out, the pain was back. I put on some soothing music, wrapped up in a blanket, did some tapping and a lot of visualization. I visualize where the pain is, and lead it out of my body. By 4:00a.m it was gone and I went back to bed. I'm pretty sure I dozed a little bit before that. This morning I was feeling good, and chalked the pain up to bad menstrual cramps. But, by the time I was finished work aroun 3:00 today, I could feel the pain returning. It didn't help that I was in the car and driving, so my movement was limited. When I got home, I grabbed the heating pad and rested, and then again climbed into a hot tub. The heat really does help. So I've got the pain under control, now my job is to determine what's the cause. Here are my theories:
1) really bad indigestion.......but that should have been rectified after all the throwing up last night
2) really bad menstrual cramps...... I've read where they can be severe when going through menopause. I can probably count one one hand the number of times I have had bad cramps in my life
3) a kidney stone..... The pain is on the left side of my body, side to lower abdomen, comes and goes, but is sharp
4) abdominal hernia........I was lifting heavy tires last night, feels somewhat constipated
5) appendix.......nope already gone
6) gall stones.....nope, gall bladder already gone
I'm not really anxious about the possible ondition, I can deal with that.... But I'm going away to banff tomorrow and I don't want to be a wet towel. Worrying about that is probably not helping to rectify the situation. So from here on in, I'm not going to worry about the weekend. The worst thing that can happen is I might have to go to the banff hospital if I can't control the pain if it returns. Awwwww, to be rid of the worry feels good already.
K, I better go pack and wait to hear rom the ladies as to when thy want to leave tomorrow.
