There is lots of snow around here, but it is so beautiful. The scenary looks like a Christmas card, with the snow stuck to the branches of the trees. I should almost have a fire pit tonight to sit out and enjoy the fresh air. (plus the fire smoke - my favorite scent)
Happy Thanksgiving to all my American friends. Safe travels! And thanks for also sharing your "Black Friday" tradition. Apparently many Canadian stores are jumping on the economic band wagon. I'll be curious to read in the Saturday paper if we have the same occurances as they do in the States. So I must remember to avoid all stores on Friday.
Had a nice visit with Mom yesterday. We have her Christmas lists all made up and I just need to get a few supplies. I love thinking up new twists on how she can give money this year. I think she enjoys the results too. Stayed tuned for the details (Alisa - close your eyes)
We were thinking of having a Grey Cup party this weekend - seeing how Calgary has made it to the game, but then we remembered we have a birthday party for Linden in the morning. Don't want to make it too busy of a party.
My Christmas list is getting shorter, now if I could just get motivated to finish my Christmas cards. This weekend is going to be my "clear every project up" weekend. Did I say every project - I meant "most" projects.
Well I better go jump in the shower. This morning hair do will scare the kids, I'm sure.
