And it's another Monday.
Had a lovely, but tiring weekend in Banff with the ladies. It's not that we over indulged ourselves, it was a busy weekend added onto a tiring previous week. We stayed at a hotel right in the heart of Banff. The location was great as we walked around to window shop. I being the "non-shopper" person was actually the only one who bought anything. To think I went all the way to Banff to shop at the Bay!!!! It was surprising to see no snow in the town of Banff; only the mountains had snow; and they were beautiful mountains. We headed home on Sunday morning; either around 10;30 or 11:30, depending which clock we looked at. (it was time to change the clocks back one hour) Despite the 1 1/2 hour drive home, we still couldn't up with something to do; so seeing how there were four of us ladies and one movie we all wanted to see - we rented Magic Mike. It was - entertaining - . Usually I am a big fan of Matthew MacConnehey(sp), but he was horrible in this movie - not so much his acting (k, that wasn't great either), but the character was so unattractive (on the inside), but great buns. Tatum Channing had the best role, and I didn't find his personal appearance as wonderful as everyone beams about; but he does have that "charisma" which makes him quite attractive. There a free review. Like the sales girl said to Rose when she bought the movie "The story line is terrible, but who cares!"
I was in bed by 9:00 pm on Sunday night and slept til 6:30 am Monday, when my alarm went off. (minus 2 pee breaks) I had to get up early to take my car to the autobody shop. It was time to get my car ding fixed. Then the rental company picked me up, and we headed to their shop. They offered me a white, Ford, explorer. It seemed so big, so I asked for something a little smaller. Wouldn't you know it would turn out to be black. It's a Mitchubishi (sp) and I actually find it quite roomy in the front.
So tomorrow is a crazy day - I better get another good night sleep.
