Hope I didn't startle anyone by blogging two days in a row.
It's Wednesday and that means half the work week is over. It has been a long day, only because I left the house around 8:30 am this morning and didn't get back until 3:30 ish. For me, that is a long day.
Had to take a little one for a doctor's appointment this morning, and then took my mom grocery shopping this afternoon. I don't think mom really needed to get too much, but just wanted to get out of her dreary room and get some fresh air.
I bought a few groceries as well (shoot I missed 10% Tuesday at Safeway yesterday). Brought the groceries inside the house, put them on the counter, and then I got a lesson in Salsa. Even if it is in bag, if a large plastic bottle of Salsa falls from the island counter, and hits a hardwood floor, streams and blots and liquid and solids of all sorts will splatter a long, long way. It we want to find a bright side to this story - my kitchen floor got the wash it so rightly deserved; and..... I only lost 1/8 of the salsa.
Bill just took off for a golf meeting that he suddenly remembered; kids are not coming home tonight - ahhh, Maya and I are going to get our PJ's on and go read a good book.
