I can honestly say, I haven't felt this tired in a long time.
The past week was a busy, but fun one.
Thursday night a girl friend and I went to Jubilations Dinner Theatre (previously won the radio) It was a take off of NCIS. A job well done. I love bobbing along to the music. Unfortunatley except for my date and myself, I couldn't see any other movements in the people around us. I'm going to give the patrons the benefit of the doubt: either A) they all forgot their hearing aids and couldn't hear a thing; B) The music was too young for them or C) they were having too much of a good time, they were entranced with all around them.
Friday night was another outting. The President of Bill's company had a small social gathering. I was a little leery at first about going. Usually Bill ends up on the phone with work, and not knowing most of the people, makes it a stressful evening. Well, I was pleasantly surprised how friendly the wifes/ladies were. I met some really nice ladies and the evening seemed to end too fast. The format of the night was also different. There was a chef and a wine expert. The wine expert Amy would bring out a type of wine that was to be paired with the course the chef had prepared. I didn't dabble in the wines too much (DD), or the champagne. The food were exotic with different cheeses, fresh made crab cakes, sushi, and even poached quail eggs. It was just before midnight when we left and we were one of the lasts. And this house.......they had just sold it, with some of the furniture still set up. Awesome. If I were going to upsize, this would be a way to go. But like Bill says, we need to downsize the house and up size the garage!!!!!
Saturday morning came way too fast. I can't figure out why I'm the one that never drinks when we're out and yet I always seemed to be the one that feels like they have been drinking? I managed to make a trip into one of my stores, but then it was home to bed for a long nap.
Off to bed now.
