Day 62 - 303 Days to Go

Happy Thanksgiving!!!! (If you live in Canada, I guess)

My old timers is setting in again today. I'm having a hard time remembering what I spent my time doing!
Hmmmm - oh yeah, making some cards; cleaning up the kitchen. Then the son, Susan and I went to Market Mall. Had a bit of shopping to do. Trying to get some Christmas present ideas for people that I need to send in the mail. If I'm going to get things to Texas, I may have to mail them mid November! Hopefully I can get a few things for the daughter's roommates in Peterborough and she can take them back with her! Didn't get a whole lot bought, but came up with a few ideas. Ran into John W checking out his lotto tickets. He is looking healthy and so much like his Dad. Had a nice conversation - catching up on kids and stuff!
Afterwards we went to Robin's for Thanksgiving dinner. I ate way too much. They was a nice size group there. Trevor was already there. He was Caylee watching while Alisa went and picked up Nana. Learned a new game - about apples - come to think of it, I haven't figured out why the game would have apples in the title!!!!! But never the less, it was alot of fun. Scary how much the son and Trevor think alike. Baby Caylee was tired, but doesn't matter how yucky, or grumpy, or tired she is, she has the biggest smile when she see's her mom!!!! I remember having that affect on my kids. It's the most amazing feeling. And to watch it, just warms your heart. Alisa is a great mom - the patience of a saint! Caylee is one lucky little girl - She is not going to ever feel unloved!! (and she's fun to spoil)

BODY: Got in over 12,000 steps. Probably half of that was from walking Market Mall and the other half rocking Caylee!

MIND: I thought this was very appropriate for a Thanksgiving Day. "If you can't be content with what you have received, be thankful for what you have escaped!" Amen to that one.

Good night and be thankful!
Stacey
