Day 63 - 302 Days to Go

Today was a day that started with good intentions. Then I woke up and looked outside. I don't think we'll be driving way down south today - I thought to myself. Having thought that, I pulled the covers up over my head, rolled over (sorry Maya) and went back to sleep for another hour.
Can't spend the entire day in bed (although it would be nice) Started on another tape transfer first thing in the morning. This is getting to be a time waster. Not for transferring the footage, but for sitting down and getting caught up in the moment. Today's tape was of the daughter again. (haven't gotten to the son one's yet)We were visiting Grandma and Grandpa's house. The daughter was just learning to walk and she used great grandma's walker as her stabilizer. Just seeing her with her grandparents and great grandma brought back wonderful memories. Thank goodness for cam corders at the time, because there is no way my brain has enough memory pouches to hold all this stuff. I'd forgotten alot of it. Brought a very big smile to my face, and a tear to my eye.
I think I am ready to pull my treadmill into my office; it is that organized. Maybe tomorrow will be the day.
Took the son for his 4 week haircut (trim - designs - whatever)A quick trip back home to shower off the excess hair and I was off for my travels. Dropped Susan back home (she has a schedule to attend to as well) Took the son to the APEX session and then headed up to my line dance lesson.
Well tonight we learned a new dance, but I also learned a very valuable lesson. There are about 35 ladies in the class. Like me, they are also beginners. There is one lady in particular who just seems very uncoordinated. At first I thought she just wasn't practising the dances at home. Then it occured to me, that maybe she just didn't have the co-ordination. But she arrived early this evening (as did I). She came over and complimented me on my "expertise". (which doesn't take too much in this beginners class)and explained to me she had a stroke a couple of years ago and she had difficulty processing the steps at such a fast pace. Talk about feeling small. I spent about 15 minutes helping her out and then during the class I over emphasised some of the steps to give her a better visual. I hope we can meet a little early next week to do the same.
At 7:00 ran out of there fast, but drove fairly slow and consistant all the way to the ABC to pick up the son from another soccer pratice. I think I love being busy, because I still have a smile on my face!!!!

BODY: 16,000 steps tonight! We did alot of dancing tonight. (as opposed to just learning steps) I may even join the class in an outing to Ranchmans to practise in front of an audience.

MIND: This quote seemed appropriate (forgot the author) "Never judge a man' actions until you know his motives!" I think I learned a very valuable lesson tonight - here's hoping I can keep this in my mind with fellow drivers!!!!!

Off to enter some radio contests and then in to bed.
Night
