What a nice day today!!!! The daughter left early with Bill. She was going to work out, do some shopping for her trip to Bahamas in December and then pick up lunch and come home.
I got to spend the morning with Miss Caylee. She is so alert! I feel like I should be putting her in her chair and letting her explore with her eyes - but she is just too darn cute and too darn fun. I'm probably spoiling her for her mom and she'll have a heck of a time getting to her play on her own!!!!!
When Alisa got back from her errands, we had dim sum for lunch. Note to self - don't order dim sum on an empty stomach.....or without translaters. Who knew how much was in one order. Needless to say, the son was very excited when he finally arrived home and found all this left over food. Sticky rice tastes good almost forever.
I was excited that the daughter got to meet her new cousin Caylee!! The daughter fulfilled her role and "not interested cousin", but I think she was pretty amazed at this little person and how it belonged to her big cousin Alisa. Or at least that was what I read into it. The daughter isn't a baby person, but at this age, neither was her father! - and look how he changed!
Had a short nap in the afternoon, and started to clean up my mess in the kitchen. I attempted a new recipe of banana loaf. It's really good. You split the flour between white and whole wheat - and you add ground flax seed. I used my fancy dancy Magic Bullet to chop the walnuts. Another note to self - don't put in too many or leave to long, you get walnut butter!!!!! I made two loaves and only one left - I think it was a hit!!!!
BODY: Got in 12,000 steps.
MIND: Unknown author "God made us cousins because he knew our mom's couldn't handle us as sisters." How true that statement is for Alisa and Ashley!!!!! I can't even imagine having the two of them under the same roof! It would spell T R O U B L E
Night
