Day 77 - 288 Days to Go

Woke up to more snow today. I'm optomistic that we'll have some snowless days still ahead.
Spent the morning with the daughter. I'm greatful she was able to squeeze me into her busy schedule. We drove out to the new mall by Balzac. I hadn't been there yet and today seemed like the day to go. I wanted to pick up a couple of shirts for Dad for Christmas. The son had purchased a couple there last weekend. Grandpa liked the shirts and was even more impressed with the price - 2 for $30.00. Can't wait until the day the son and Grandpa where the same shirts to the same function!!!!!
Also picked up a nice pair of boots for my line dancing. As nice as they are, they don't have magic powers and I'm still going to have to practice every day to keep on top of all 6 dances.
Ran into one of my Mom's from PREP. I worked with her son a few years ago and now he is in PREP 3. She had heard I left, but did not believe the story that had been told to her. It's too bad, the truth can't be told, because it really does give PREP a image when they say one thing, and the parent knows that isn't the truth!!!!
Had a quick rest in the daughter's room while we watched a home video. It was where the daughter was just learning to walk and her 1st birthday party. By the smiles on her face and the laughing, I'm guessing she enjoyed the movie.
The daughter drove the son to soccer practice and I was able to go directly to my dance class. Lots of people tonight. There was even one guy. He is on an exchange program with the U of C and apparently he line dances in France. So he was in the class. Brave soul!!!

BODY: Before I left for line dancing, I had 9500 steps on the pedometer. So I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that there were over 10,000 steps by the end of the night. I didn't want to wear the pedometer with my new boots!!

MIND: Why do I feel the need to save the world. With the gentlemand in our class tonight, I spent more time concerned with this poor guy and how difficult it was for him to follow the steps. I never did go over and help, and I'm not sure what would have possessed me to think I could communicate with him (that french/english language barrier)
Late night tonight, but well worth it.
Many things to be grateful for.
Night
Stacey
