Day 70 - 295 Days to Go

Today was one of those days when everything that happened, just made me smile. And sometimes, it just takes the little things. I got the chance to babysit Miss Caylee again this morning. I think we are starting to bond. Even better, I think she and Miss Maya are starting to bond. As long as Maya gets equal amount of attention, things are all good.
A few quick pick ups around the house and it was time for soccer drop off. The son agreed to help me out and go a little early so I could make my line dance class on time. Thank goodness I was a little early because I used the extra practice time wisely. Up to six songs now and the pathways in my brain are starting to resemble rush hour on the deerfoot trail! Finished at 7:00 and zoomed back (never over the speed limit - no matter what the potential speeding camera shot might say)to pick up the son. He was in good spirits (with a hopeful soccer trip to Hawaii in his planning) and that made the drive home, much more calmer.
Made myself a healthy smoothy (that's right no tequila for me)out of fruit and water and sat down to watch my NCIS!!! Even received a phone call from the daughter, and she sounded excited to be coming for a visit next week.
One of most pleasant parts of the day, came near the very end. As I was searching on Facebook, I had a short, but poinant conversation with a very dear friend. A smile came to my face, and I'm having a difficult time removing it. I'm anxious to get to bed now and reminice!!!!!!

BODY: Not only did I get over 13,000 steps, the line dancing class was very fast moving tonight. I guess that happens when you have a few dances under your belt.

MIND: Here's a quote that seems appropriate "Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some stay for awhile and leave footprints on our hearts. And we are never ever the same!!!"
Good night and count your blessings.
Stacey
