Taa daaa - the floors are finished. Fairly happy with the job done. A couple of fixer uppers, but overall they look great. I left the house around 11:45 this morning and by the time I returned the floor man was gone, floors were done, chinese take out was on the counter.
Worked with Sam this afternoon. Decided to drive as I wasn't sure what time I would be able to leave the house this morning. Probably a good thing, because after I dropped Sam off at home, it had started to snow. Drove to the soccer center to pick up the son and a friend. His other friend Logan was waiting for his Dad. So we headed home the Stony Trail short cute when the son realized he might have left his phone back at the soccer center. Turned onto Crowchild to backtrack back to the soccer dome, and it was then the missing phone was found in the smelly soccer shoe. So we got to drive Justin home via Country Hills Blvd. Question: Who in their right mind would be driving a small, sporty, hot 2 seater BMW in this weather, and what makes him think he could get up Country Hills by the YMCA when bigger vehicles were having trouble. I would have gone to a movie and waited until the traffic cleared and the roads had been sanded. It was a slow drive home, but we made it. Hope everyone else did too.
Spent the better part of the evening dusting and wiping down stuff. Can you guess one of the first things to be set up????????? Yup, the new plasma TV. Maybe we can get the other big one out of the kitchen tomorrow!!!!!!!
BODY: Hasn't happened yet, but I am about to climb into a nice, hot jacuzzi tub and soak with a good book.
