Day 12 of October

The weekend was here and now it's over. The time went by fast, but it was an amazing weekend.
First of all my cousin Cindy came for a visit. I'm not sure if visit is the correct word - she came for an enlightment session. It seems whenever we get together, there is never enough time to talk about everything. But the purpose of her visit this weekend was to attend a workshop. We actually attended it together and I am eternally greatful to her for bringing this wonderful tool into my life. It is called Psych-K. I'm not going to spend the entire blog going into what it is, but if you want to find out what it is about - just use that google button. We worked on muscle testing and balancing. I am exhausted at the end of the two day training. But it is a good exhaustion - I feel a relaxed tiredness - if there is such a thing. I just want to sit on the couch and watch a movie with Bill and Patrick (normally not my thing). The instructor was very knowledgable and very good at explaining in layman terms the subject at hand. I think the best part of the course was the people we met. Not including the instructor, her husband, and granddaughter, there were four of us in the course. Not only did Cindy and I have a connection, but the couple from Edmonton help to make the course the success it was. And I like to think there could be possible friendships in the making!
So that was during the day - and in the evenings - well let's just say, getting to bed before midnight was a challenge. Friday night when Cindy arrived, we played catch up. Luckily Robin was still at our house when Cindy arrived. On Saturday night, Cindy, Robin and I went out for dinner to Applebee's. I have a smile on my face just thinking of our evening. We had intended to spend more time at Robin's visiting, but I know I was ready to kick off the shoes and rest. When we got home, Patrick and his cousins and friends were hanging out carving pumpkins. They sure looked like they were having fun. I've always wanted our home to be the one the kids like to hang out at - mess and all.
This week is going to be a busy one and I'm excited. I've been asked to help out at soccer camps for a salary----- I believe that's up to 6 jobs. I've missed the little soccer kids. It's fun to watch them learn and to watch the teenagers learn to teach and deal with younger ones.
Needless to say tonight is going to be an early night.
