Day 221 - 144 Days to Go

What do you mean Saturday is almost over? I must have blinked!
Well the son and I watched a little bit of Lost during the day today! 1 or 2 or 5 episodes. Claire and Kate and the French woman have just come back from finding the other "building" where Claire had been taken. Did I mention I still like Sawyer, even though he squished the noisy tree frog in front of Hurley! The son was pretty sure I wouldn't like him after he did that. Hard to explain to a 16 year old boy, it's not about the "tree frog".
Anyway I have not changed out of my Pj's. I've brushed the teeth; done the dishes, made some supper (does potatoe soup and grilled cheese sandwiches count); cleaned up the rest of the night before favors and even got a little bit of paper work done (very little). My hardest job today was keeping my eyelids open. Drunk - not; Tired - most definetly. After everyone left around 2:00ish, Bill came home. He was in good spirits (both mentally and alcoholically) He just kept saying how bad Uncle Ray was feeling. When I went to bed at 3:00 am, he wasn't sounding so hot himself. He gets this labored breathing and usually what follows is a prelude to my yearly gift. But I was too tired to stick around and worry about the aftermath, so I went and slept in the daughter's bed. We really got to get her a better bed, because the futon on the floor just wasn't cutting it for me. Around 6:00 am, I thought I better check on Bill and he was sawing logs and slumbering just fine. Again, I figured I wouldn't be able to sleep with all that noise, so I went back downstairs, but this time climbed onto the Lazy Boy. I think I got maybe 2 hours sleep. Finally around 9:00 am Bill came downstairs and annouced he was going downtown to get his truck. The caring and loving wife in me asked "how?" Well, before I could offer (and I was going to offer - later) he was in the garage, filling the tires on his bike and headed out. Don't you just hate over zealous hang-over people!!!!! Well good for him, I thought (yeah, that's what I was thinking) So I climbed back on the Lazy Boy and the son proceeded to pop in a few episodes of Lost. I think we rewatched a couple as my eyes just wouldn't stay open. The son would keep asking me questions to see if I was awake, and finally the questions became to difficult and I couldn't guess anymore. But I faked my way for the first few questions.

BODY: Tylenol for the lack of sleep headache - I didn't drink any wine, so I'm pretty sure that is what the headache is from. That and the fact, I can't keep my eyes open.

MIND: Tomorrow is the new start for the weekend. I'm going to get up early, be energetic, exercise and..... well that's a good start I think.

Good night
Stacey
