The day really does fly by fast when you are having fun; and I was having fun. Sat with Miss Caylee today. OMG, she is such a smart little girl. She is just like a little sponge - absorbing everything. I can't remember, but I hope I was this observant with my own kids. I know having took my Ed. Assistant courses at the U of C has helped me be a better educator, and who better to educate than a little "sponge." Alisa left me notes (k, it's been awhile) and Miss Caylee followed those notes to the T. But poor Molson, he had no notes and I didn't know what he could and couldn't have. He sure is good with Caylee though. They were both at the front door looking out the window. Caylee would turn to pet (the best she knows how) and Molson just sat there. So I'd call Molson over to get away, but he didn't want to leave Caylee. It was too cute!!!
So that's how I spent most of the day. Managed to get there and home without hitting any rush hour traffic on Deerfoot.
Alisa did lend me a book to read. It is about a lady who tried to follow Oprah's advise for an entire year. Will start on that tonight.
Had a quick bite of supper when I got home and rested my eyes. I've had a little twang of a headache the past couple of days, - not enough water I'm sure. Then the son and I watched an episode of Lost. Not going to lie, I was a little lost. It was flashbacks - or forwards of Desmond?
Early night tonight and then hopefully I can finish up the rest of the laundry and sewing tomorrow. (the son and his new pants)
BODY: Drinking lots of water and resting my eyes was a needed source for my body today.
MIND: Louise Hay "Today I claim my power."
Good Night
