I should start at the beginning of my day, but would love to just jump to close to the end of my day.
It's Tuesday and of couse the day of the week when I let myself get crazy busy. Work in the morning. I find myself getting attached more and more to those little kids. I hope those parents realize how lucky they are. Had some comical moments at school. There was the one little boy at bathroom time who had to clean the toilet seat before he pee'd; despite the fact he stood up. Then there was another little guy who was determining everybody's skin color. Mine was spotted. I knew sitting out in the sun in my younger days would catch up to me. There was one little guy sitting on my lap at circle was asking what was on my chin. At first I thought I had left over black paint from craft, but finally realized he was picking at my "chin hairs" and they were not visuable to most naked eyes. I love school and these innocent days.
Then it was off to my nail appointment. Denise was there and surprisingly remembered me. She is so comical and so talented. Again she drew small flowers on a couple of my nails. I can't imagine having such steady hands for such delicate work.
Next stop home and although I really could have used a nap, there was no time. There was a kitchen to clean, laundry to put away and soccer scores to total. A little bit of practice for the line dancing filled up any extra time.
As soon as the son came home, I gave him 15 minutes and we needed to be on our way. I stopped off at my mom's to finally deliver her hearing aid batteries. Of course it would be supper time and she was not impressed because it meant I couldn't visit her suite and collect all her mail and bills to sort. I did have the son drop off the wheelchair in her suite though. I must try and fit in another quick visit to stay on her good side! (she'll remind me no doubt)
Dropped the son off at soccer and headed to my line dancing. Boy can you ever tell I practiced all week. It really does show when you put in the effort. That was our last class for the winter session. Five weeks off and then it's practice time for the Stampeded - yea haw!!
On the way to line dancing, received a call from one of my coffee dates. Miss Alisa had to cancel. Good luck was coming her way, and she was having a second showing on the house. Everything happens for a reason. It was too bad though because she was going to join myself and a friend from high school. It was sort of a get to know each other kind of meeting. This friend is a very special friend with great energy, positive outlook and spiritual abundance that can only make you smile when he walks in the room. As soon as I heard he was in town, I thought what a great opportunity for him to meet someone with the same qualities. Alas it will have to wait for another time. But Leslie being the outgoing and fun guy that he is, had me call Alisa to chit chat. When the call was done, he said he felt great energy from her voice!!!! I can't wait for the next meeting to happen!!! April 3rd - Taste of Jamaica sounds like a good time!
The time flew by so fast and then it was off to pick up the son from driving school. I know that's not where I left him, but he's not someone who can have just one activity a night. And now I am home, a smile on my face, calmness in my soul, and darn tired.
BODY: I didn't wear my pedometer today, but I'm pretty sure with school and the line dancing I am way over. We did nothing but dance all night - very little teaching time.
MIND: Dorothy Thomson "Karmic Soul Mate—
Karmic soul mates are those you encounter in this lifetime for a certain reason. They may or may not be romantically inclined and in most cases, they’re not. They could be a co-worker, friend, or even your own mother. They are put on this earth solely for you to learn something from them or they learn something from you."
Good night
