Day 229 - 136 Days to Go

What a nice lazy day! Other than fitness training for the son, I didn't have an agenda today. I did stuff when I felt like it and did nothing when that hit me too.
Ok, so the day wasn't lazy, I was. But it was a relaxing lazy. The son and I must have watched at least 4 episodes of Lost. We were both us early and just lazed on the couch for a couple of hours. Mr. Echo is now dead - for real this time - I think. And pore Sawyer has been beat up yet once again. For someone who has been beaten up so much on the show, he is still looking pretty darn good.
Had a nice visit with parents while waiting for the son at fitness. It was warm out with a wind that was very inconsistant. I like that I no nothing about soccer - and the going ons in all the clubs. It amazes me though how these ladies can remember so much. I have a hard time remembering what I had for breakfast.
Worked out in the garden for a little bit in the afternoon. Just tried to clear all the dead shrubbery and rabbiit poop. By the amounts of the latter, there must be an entire family that parks itself in my flower beds at night. I guess tulips will be out of the questions again this year. I'm still waiting to see a rabbit around the neighbourhood so I can find out how much more of winter we'll have.
Had a call from the daughter today; just to talk. I like those calls. It has been awhile since receiving a phone call from her where there hasn't been a crisis going on. Sounds like she is just about finished classes and getting ready for exams. She wasn't even stressed about her broken computer. It's amazing what time can calm.
Finally finished the Ellen Burstyn book on tape. Out of 10, I would give it a 7. She does seem kind off flakey sometimes, but it could just be her voice and how she presents the story. She does try to get some poignant points across, and she had a couple of recommendations for books I'd like to read. I've got one on hold "Life after Life" by Raymond Moody.

BODY: The ping pong table is up and running and played quite a few games with the son. Most of the exercise I got was from running after the ball after I missed it. You guessed it, he won all the games. But I was getting back towards the end.

MIND: Louise Hay "It's easy to grow and change in an atmosphere of love."

Good Night
Stacey
