I have determined that the comic "Zits" that is in the Calgary Herald is about our family. I'm sure there must be a hidden camera in our house and the cartoonist gets his ideas from my tennager!!!
The son had a dentist appointment today, so I dropped him off and ran a few errands. I was hoping to pick up his birthday present but I couldn't find what I was looking for. I will try tomorrow at Market Mall.
As the son was getting ready for his dentist appointment I noticed that his face was quick dry. I suggested he try this face mask I have and it would help get rid of any flaky skin. Well after much negotiating, I finally convinced him. I told him to come back in 10 minutes and I would help get the mask off. Well he came back and asked what it was exactly that I had put on his face. To my dismay and his, it turns out I had grabbed the wrong "tube" and his face was plastered in hair gel. At least his whiskers never moved!!!!! I couldn't stop laughing and the son found it hard to believe I was really sorry. I had to confess that I have pulled that type of thing on myself numerous times. I will probably never get him to try anything like that again.
The son had his last fitness class so we headed off to that. I was pretty sure that there would be rush hour traffic and construction delays, so we left somewhat early. Well, things never go the way they are planned. We were very early for fitness so we swung around and picked up Mr. Logan.
We started watching a Harry Potter movie, but I realized I had seen it before and thought entering my blog and going to bed sounded much more appealing.
BODY: 8000 steps and my ab ball work out. I could tell the work out worked because when the son was rinsing off his hair gel from his face, my stomach muscles were a little sore when I laughed.
MIND: Louise Hay "Today I don?t have to fit into anyone else's emotional atmosphere." I think this is one of my favorite quotes in a long time.
