Day 226 - 139 Days to Go

Once a coincidence, twice is something cosmic.
Number 1 - On March 21 I received a card from one of the students at school. She is from Iran (or some place nearby) Anyway the card was for A Happy Persian New Year (or Happy Spring) I didn't realize that is what people are called who reside from the area. I am currently listening to a book on tape "Ellen Burstyn - biography." I had seen her on a talk year a couple of years ago, and was intrigued by her story. So the last time I was at the library I came across her book on tape. It is 8 disks long and I have been listening to it each morning. Anyway, the day after received this Happy Persian new year card, Ellen is talking about a trip she takes to Iran (and places around there) and some healing she was looking into with the Persians.
Number 2 - Yesterday when I was feeling all the positive energy, I looked up on the internet how to figure out how energy is transferred between people. The website talked about sitting across from a person, etc, etc and then placing your hands up close to the other persons, with focusing and other stuff (not going into all the details) you can start to feel the energy. So today, I'm listening to Ellen's book again, and she talks about using energy to heal and how she went to a lady that used her hands to transfer energy for healing.
Now if that isn't just weird that I'm being introduced to all this misc. information and then the next day having it confirmed in a book (a biography at that.)
So that's the weird part of the day. Then there is a funny part. Although when it happened this morning, it wasn't funny, it was annoying.
During the week, my usual routine in the morning is as follows: Bill gets up, gets ready, comes and kisses me good bye, takes Maya to her box, gives her a treat and leaves for work. I get up, got to the front door, get the paper, put in on the counter and make my breakfast, Maya goes to her bed by the kitchen. Well this morning the routine started out the usual way. Bill got up, he got ready; comes and kisses me goodbye; takes Maya to her box; gives her a treat and leaves for work. However, I look over at the alarm clock and realize it is only 5:20 am. I don't have to get up until 6:30. So I roll over to go back to sleep. Maya comes back into the bedroom and starts to whine; figuring she wants up on the bed, but her eyes haven't adjusted to the light, I switch on the light. She continues to stand by the bed; another whine; so I bend over the bed to pick her up, thinking maybe she's too tired to jump; she runs away. Fine, I roll over and cover my head. She comes back to the bed and whine agains. I look over the bed to see if there is a toy around that she is wanting me to throw for her; nope, no toy. I explain to her (I know she's a dog) that I'm not playing and roll over once again. The whining continues for a couple more minutes. I finally get out of bed thinking one of her toys is behind the door and she can't get it. So I get up and she runs ahead of me; I follow her thinking she wants something in the kitchen; she heads straight for the front door and sits on the rug. This is her usual stance when I get the paper in the morning. I come to realize, I'm not following the routine. She wants me to get the paper so she can go to sleep in her bed by the kitchen. After a stern talking to (again, I know she's a dog) I turn off the kitchen light and head back to bed. Maya follows me, and jumps up on the bed beside me, and cuddles in. I guess I'm going to have to change up my routine a little in the morning.

BODY: 15,000 steps; green tea and no caffine for over a week now. I am really noticing my level of energy is up. Dr. Oz says "caffine contributes to belly fat (somehow)

MIND: Louise Hay "Today I make healthy choices that support and fulfill me." Add that to my dododododo moments and my mind is full of "positive and reflective energy."

Good night
Stacey
