Day 222 - 143 Days To Go

Still feeling a little bit of aftermath from the Friday festivities. How did I ever used to do this when I was younger. I don't remember it taking so long to recover. I've had this nagging eye ache for the past two days. I've tried Rose's remedy - drink lots and lots of water to hydrate. I'm going to look like a lake pretty soon.
Got a great start to my day. Then I checked my emails. Now I'm not going to mention any names (and that's really hard for me) but there is nothing like receiving an accusatory (sp) letter from a person whom you thought you had a mutual respect for. All of a sudden soccer season (oops) is over and the respect is over too. Having said that, I played my respective "immature" card and sent a return email. Lesson learned - most definetly. Moving on (after this blog, obviously)
Got supper made before I left to take the son to fitness. Seeing how I was going to be way out in the south again, I decided to catch up on a few errands. I finally went to Costco and picked up the darn hearing aid batteries. Stood in line for 25 minutes to pay for one item. Not one person suggested letting me ahead with my one piece of paper. I thought the Costco in Beacon Hill was busy, and the one in the NE was busy, but the one in the south was crazy. I believe people in the south are from another planet (excluding Dawn of course)
Then I stopped in to Nevada Bobs. Seems Bill was short some balls (golf balls) There was a great sale at the golf shop and of course they had run out of these certain balls. Nevada Bobs matches prices, but this must have been such a great deal (regular 24.99 for 12/on sale for 11.99), everyone in town was sold out. By the time I made it back to fitness, the boys were on their way out. Dropped the keeper man off at the soccer dome to meet up with his folks and the son and I carried on home. Put the supper (Shepperd's pie) in the oven to warm up.
Keeping my eye on Miss Maya today. I think she hurt herself the party night on the stairs (probably drunk from drinking out of two certain ladies glasses)(they were lit up - the glasses and the ladies) Maya gives a little squeek when I go to pick her up. She's still moving about, so it can't be too serious. Probably just a bruise. She was a little sick this morning (maybe the result of potatoe chips?????)
Had the son drive me up the hill to drop off the soccer stuff. He did a pretty good job. I was only nervous when he was showing me all the things he was doing wrong the first time he went driving.
Got a nice letter off to Auntie Ming. I've made a promise that I am going to try and get letters off to Mom's relatives every few months. Mom used to do that with all the family news. Hopefully I won't have to translate.

BODY: 8000 steps and counting, (or not)

MIND: Louise Hay "I release the past with ease and trust the process of life." (which is exactly what needs to be done; ie the lovely email)

Good Night
