Welcome home Alisa and Caylee!!! Hope you had a wonderful visit!
Today was start back to work day. Wondering why the first day back is always the day I have to deal with poop? Wasn't as bad as the last time, that's for sure. There are three new kids in the class. Two of them of 3 year old twin boys! My goodness, are they cute; and rambunctious (sp) but that is the best part about them.
After work I snuck in a quick nap. That's from staying up late reading last night. Won't make tht same mistake again. Got supper ready and then I was off to my line dancing. First night in the winter session. I didn't realize how much I missed it. I'm actually making some friends too, there's ??????????? and Marg and Wendy and 35 other ladies. Smaller class. I also took a big leap; I purchased a cowboy shirt, bandanna and water bottle holster. That's right, I'm signed up to walk the pre Stampede parade! What was I thinking? Good thing I have lots of time to get in shape. Stopped for groceries on the way home, and now I am done for the day.
So did I mention that son has discovered that his cell phone is not water proof? You would think he's take a lesson from his sister who lost/broke two cell phones/crackberries to water/water falls. I guess he was pretending his phone was like a rubber ducky!!!! All I can say is Bill was pretty smart putting all the phone plans in his name, because there is no way the kids can get around getting new ones without his knowledge.!!!
Poem: Teacher’s Assistant Course - when I was taking my TS course we had to write a couple of poems on the spot. This was mine.March 2003
Gina had a little class
With students bright as stars
Everything that Gina taught
The class had learned in bars
Every Tuesday they’d show up
To listen to her class
Reading, writing, poetry
In hopes that they would pass
(Sung to Mary Had a Little Lamb)
Squeaky, squeaky little mouse
Please don’t venture in my house
I don’t care how cute you look I would squish you with a book
Squeaky, squeaky little mouse
Please go find another house.
(Sung to Twinkle, twinkle little star)
BODY: Over 15,000 steps in tonight - thanks to chasing little kids and line dancing:
MIND: Louise Hay: If I want to be loved as I am, then I need to be willing to love others as they are.
Good Night
