WTF - Wednesday, Thursday, Friday - only days left til the weekend.
I actually got quite a bit accomplished today. Finally pulled the sewing machine out and got all four pairs of the son's pants sewed up. Let's hope they last awhile. Any particular reason the hole is always in the same spot - the most difficult place to sew with the machine....the crotch!!!!!!
BBQ'd for supper, and got the upstairs vacuumed. It is so much easier to vacuum hardwood than carpet. I like how fast it goes. I can also run the sweeper across on those days when a quick wipe is needed.
The son had soccer again tonight. Dropped him off and then went and picked up my Mom. I work much better on surprise visits. We hit the closest Walmart and got all her little tidbits. I almost picked up some wool and a pattern. Thought maybe get back into crocheting. I was this close, and then went "When are you going to have time to do this?" Put all the wool back and continued on down the aisle. Maybe in a different life! Besides, last thing I need is another blanket. Maybe I need to email Dixie and get her pattern for my poncho. If it is crocheted, I might try that.!!!!!
Anyways, left Walmart, went through the drive through at Timmy's and we headed back to Mom's for a visit. It dawned on me as we hugged when I left, Mom is really getting shorter. For some reason, it just seemed more obvious today.
Picked up the son, came home and now I'm ready for bed.
BODY: 11,ooo steps today. I'm pretty sure I accumulated a good number of those walking up and down the Walmart aisles. Hey, a step is a step!!!
MIND: I'm not sure of the author of this quote, but a friends, 16 year old daughter had it as her Facebook Status and I loved it.
