Not alot of goings on today. Worked this morning. I'm enjoying the new job, just wondering if I'm the right person for this position though. I'm trying to keep a low profile, but sometimes I'm wondering if I might be keeping quiet about too much. I don't mind the mindless work, it's actually enjoyable, but do miss the missed teaching moments and wonder which is more useful. Will keep my eyes peeled, and maybe have some discussions to make sure I'm on the right track for this position. The staff and kids are great, just different to what I'm used to.
Had a nice soak in the hot tub this afternoon. It was relaxing and gave me a great chance to do some reflecting. I really need to get out and shovel some of that snow away from my hottub path though. My toes were a little chilly by the time I got the hot tub lid closed, my shoes on and back into the house.
A quick jaunt to the cell phone store so the son could buy his replacement cell phone. At least there was a lesson learned - cell phones should not be taken into the bathroom and should not be left near the tub. That was a $140.00 lesson. Then it was off to soccer. Had a nice visit with Mr. E. while we waited. Speaking of the E's. I will be needing a new work schedule for you Shaunan. That way I'll know when you won't be visitable!!!!!
BODY: Got in over 13,000 steps tonight. Plus I think the soak in the hot tub was great for my weary body.
