Guess who is coming to town? Sylvia Brown. The psychic! I had a curious moment about going? Wondered if she would come across a little more intelligent in person, than on tape. Checked out the cost of the seats. $137.50 for 1. I'm not sure how long tickets have been on sale, but I could still get two seats in the second row. I seem to recall in her book, that she tended to go on tour when she needed money for her foundation. Then it mentioned that she was not going to do any individual readings. That lets me out. But wait! She is offering these small groups 35-40 people and it only cost $1000.00 per person. I think I just sign up for clairvoyant Kim.
Got alot accomplished today. Headed out early to do some shopping. Not my favorite past time. Got my printer ink from Staples. Have determined that they have the lowest regular price. Then got the son his silver chain for his birthday. Considered the white gold, but really, it's a 17 year old boy, who leaves his stuff all over the place. Kind of humourous in that it will be Bill and my 25 wedding anniversary, which is silver, and he gets golf balls (wrapped in silver paper) and the son gets a silver chain.
When it was time to leave the mall, I went to my vehicle, pressed the button and when I tried to open the door, it wouldn't open. Damn, the remote is messed up again. So I gave it another shot. Still nothing. Hey, when did I start hanging plastic feet in my window. Oops, not my vehicle. Mine was the cleaner one (obviously Bill has cleaned it for me) two rows over. I hope the owner wasn't snoozing inside.
When I was driving home, a song came on the radio (103 XL) It was the Live and Let Die. It still astounds me how a song can bring back such memories. I can still remember the exact moment. It was grade 9; King George; after school shag (different definition back then); the song came on "live and let die"; Darrell Proctor, a boy in grade 8, came and asked me to dance; it was so awkward because the song starts out slow - so you waltz - then the song speeds up and you separate with your dance partner - then it slows down again. I remember thinking I am not going to keep doing this slow, fast, slow, fast - so we just sat down. I felt so bad for Darrell. He has since passed away in a tragic motorcycle accident, but just thinking of the moment makes me know he is around!!!!! RIP Darrell.
BODY: Over 12,000 steps at 8:00 pm and still counting. It probably helped, the shopping and taking Maya for her walk.

Had the exact same experience with my car. After taking a child for an ortho ap't. we came out and I tried the remote on the car. Tried several times(then thought the battery had finally died) and tried the lock with my key. Didn't work! That's when my son said "mum our car is over there". Saving grace was that the alarm didn't go off when I touched the door handle! And I thought I was the only one to have this happen to them, good to know I am not alone...lol
