Day 296 - 69 Days to Go

This two jobs in one day seems to be working out so far - (ok it's only been a couple of days so far) This morning their was a pre-school field trip to Petland. The kids had a great time. There was a snake, a bearded dragon, bunny (not the ones that eat my tulips), a chinchilla (can only image a soft scarf), a scorpion, a tarantula - which the young worker explained to the 3 and 4 year olds, that they could hold the spider, but not touch it, it might bite then, but might not, and not to make sudden movements or it could get scared. She was surprised when none of the students (or adults) wanted to hold it. She said this was the most timid class she's had - I explained maybe we were the smartest!!!! There were also two of the cutest puppies. Both boys; cross between boston terrier and a beagle.
The field trip only lasted an hour and a 1/2. Most of the parents stayed so it was a pretty quiet Thursday morning. I finished up there and headed to Safeways. Spent an hour and a half there, and time for home. Needless to say I was a little tired. Maya was excited to see me, and quite curious as to what puppies I was playing with. She was sniffing for a very long time.
The entire family was home for a change tonight. The daughter was in her room, the son in my watching TV and Bill was in his office and I in mine. Ahhhh a family night.

BODY: Only 7000 steps so far, but I hope to get a couple of practice dances in before bed to bring the count up.

MIND: Louise Hay "My alone time is just as fulfilling as my time I spend with other people."

Good Night
Stacey
