For 40 days and 40 nights .......I'm not sure how the neighbours would feel if I started to build an ark in the back yard. This rain is really affecting my golf game. Technically not my golf game, but Bill's golf game. And if Bill isn't golfing, then I have to make big suppers......
Pretty quiet day today. I feel like I am slowly creeping up on my sleep. Worked the preschool this morning. I forgot to mention this little girl on Tuesday. We are working on the letter C and all that starts with it. Well I started to draw my stick cat. I asked the girl what goes on top of the cats head "Ears" she says. And how many eyes does a cat have I asked. "Two.!' And here's the cats nose and what comes out of the nose. "Snot" she proudly answers. Well I couldn't really correct her, because that's exactly what comes out. I was going for whiskers, but snot works.
After work I popped into Superstore - finally. I had been putting it off due to rain and tiredness. Obviously most people had been putting it off because of rain, but like me, they were running out of food, and it was pretty busy today - despite the wetness. Picked up a frozen lasagne so I had something to pop in the oven while I snoozed. Then it was off to soccer. Yes they still play in the rain. Although the other team didn't show up (it was an exhibition game) they had a practice anyways. I ran over to Alisa's and helped give Miss Caylee a bath. What a cutie. She loves her bath and did I mention how smart she is. She understands so much. You can just see her thinking and processing. She's going to keep her mom on her toes when she starts talking up a storm.
Ran back to the soccer field and picked up the son and homeward bound. He was soaked. You might think it is from the rain, but no,... as he's practising, he was trying every slide tackle move there was and would slide on his back, or butt or stomach for a good 15- 20 feet. He looked like he was having way too much fun out there.
BODY: Tylenol for the sleep deprived headache. Maybe I should add it some tequila.
MIND: Louise Hay "I bless others good fortune, and I know that there's plenty for all."
Good Night
