Finally some sunshine. It didn't happen until 1:30ish, but it did happen. The sun came out and it was warm. We spent the day walking around downtown Seattle. I was on my mission to get pictures of signs - yes signs. I mean, we were just here at the beginning of April and have pictures of the sites. Can't wait to work on a scrapbook page.
Had breakfast at the hotel (wasn't as good as the complimentary breakfast that Anne and I had in Edmonton) but it was free. Then we headed to the streets. Hit the candy store for the great peanut brittle.
After lots of walking, we headed back to the hotel for a quick nap. Then it was off to Jazz Alley to see The Rippingtons. They were great. Had some interesting table companions. Her name was Robin (yes like my sister) and his name was Bernie (yes like Ernie and Bert put together)
She's a going deaf artist and he's a half blind muscian. They compliment each other. Had some great stories to share with us.
After dinner and the show, we cruised down by the water with Bella. Warm evening.
Now it's back to the hotel, and I know I won't need much rocking.
BODY: Didn't bring the pedometer with me, but we walked all morning and 1/2 the afternoon. Also did Ab work in the morning - a little sore this evening (hope it's sore muscles and not a pulled something)
MIND: Everything happens for a reason - and there is a reason Robin and Bernie were our table mates. We got their email address and hope to get some pictures sent to them soon.
Good Night
Stacey
