Day 300 - 65 Days to Go

Down to the wire. If the number of days seems off to you - well, it might have been, but now they are right on track. I was going over a few of the blogs and noticed that I started counting over at some point around 260ish. So I corrected them all and there are 65 days left to go in the blog.

Today was my day to catch up on everything. Laundry is almost finished. Floors are swept and the dust has been redistributed. Remember the blog where I talked about finding the dead rabbit under our deck; well today I found a dust bunny under my bed about the same size. Unlike the dead rabbit and Bill, I didn't take a picture.

I was waiting for a call this morning from my girlfriend to tell me she was home recuperating. Well I got the call, but the outcome was a little different. Seems the surgery went well, but her liver enzymes were still wacky. Seems that one of those darn gall stones is lodged in the liver duct (hmmm, that might have had something to do with why she was doubled over in pain) So now they have to transfer her to a different hospital to have another procedure done to dislodge the stone. Then send her back to the Rocky to recuperate. Did I mention she is not a happy camper. No matter how hard I try to show the the positive side to all this, she's not taking it in. Hmmmm. Hopefully when she gets home, she'll get her energy back before she starts in as super woman/mom again.

Took the son to APEX tonight and ran a few errands; gas groceries and returns to Staples. I headed back to the field as the rain started pouring, thinking the son would be running to the car. But now, there was no lightening so the practice continued. When we got home, Bill was still away golfing as well, so I guess everyone is getting used to the rain around here.

BODY: 10,000 and counting (it's only 9:00 pm)

MIND: If you're worried and you can't sleep.
Just count your blessings instead of sheep
And you'll fall asleep counting.... your blessings.
..quote from a song; sung by Bing Crosby in White Christmas!

Good Night
