Almost to the half way point!!!!
Busy, busy day! Work was fun this morning. The kids delivered their valentines to the boxes of their friends. I don't think many of the kids realize what they are doing. The boxes won't go home until next week, as some of the kids come to school on Wednesday too. There was a new little girl that started today. She is so sweet, and not much bigger than a peapod. She doesn't speak very much english, but her receptive knowledge is much better. She was sad off and on during the day.
Came home and did some line dance practising. I had a long debate (with myself) about maybe dropping the course. It is supposed to be enjoyable for me, and although the actual class is, the stress of trying to be 4 places at once is making it difficult to reap the full benefit of that enjoyment.
So I left to pick up the son from school and take him to the soccer center to help coach. That gave me some time before my lesson so went and had a nice visit with my mom. I had called Mom earlier and asked her if there was any place she needed to go as I was available between activities. I was surprised when she turned me down (usually getting out of for a break from her place is wanted and needed.) But apparently there was going to be a nice supper this evening and she didn't want to miss it. Fair enough. So instead, I stopped by and just visited until she went downstairs for supper. That still gave me a hour before my class. I headed in the general vicinity and stopped in at Sobey's for a quick bite of supper. It made me a little early for class, but that also gave me time to practice the dance I had missed the previous week. Slipped out of class about 5 mintues early so I could run and pick up the son again, pick up a team mate and run them to their fitness practice! I had a nice relaxed feeling by the time I got home, just knowing I didn't have to bring the son and team mate home. I informed Bill that I was going to sit with him and watch some television. ...... When I woke up at 10:05 (missed the ending of NCIS), Bill was upstairs doing some work on the computer. Does it count if I was near him while I fell asleep????
BODY: Got in over 12,000 steps today. That's really good considering I didn't put my pedometer on until I got home from work after noon.
MIND: Louise Hay "My future is bright and beautiful." And after having such a good time at dance class and realizing if I miss a class, I can always pick up the dance in preview portion, I've decided to continue on with the line dancing!!!!
Good night
Stacey
