This was a very relaxing Saturday and those are the best Saturdays!!! Didn't have to been anywhere and of course that means I could dress down, or what I'd like to call, just putting on sweat clothes. Spent a good part of the day making the easter baskets. I have four made and only 21 to go. Also spent part of the day reading my new book. (I go into that later on) Every time I did manage to sneak into my bedroom to read, the daughter, or the son, or sometimes both, would find me and flop on the bed to chit chat or bug. Normally I would have been annoyed, but I'm beginning to get the picture that this is how we communicate now; on their terms. I can make this work. Whay is it when they are getting along is when they are picking on me???? Again, I think I can live with that. Both kids and Bill were home for most of the day. We managed to have a family meeting and all eat dinner together. That's pretty good seeing how we never even planned it. The son made supper, and although it was only frozen pizza, it was delicious and well appreciated by me! Thank you son.
Watched some of the Olympics. I was cheering for Canada in the speedskating, womens and mens, but also had hope that Apollo from the U.S. would do well. He really made an impression when he was on Dancing with the Stars a while back. Also watched the moguls. Canada was so close to that gold.
Of course the night wouldn't have been complete without some episodes of LOST. The son talked me into 3. K, if you haven't watched LOST but are going to, don't read this part. Boone died. Now I kept asking the son if he was going to die and he said no. Then when it happened, he said he forgot. He thought he got eaten by a polar bear. Not sure if I believe him or not. Needless to say there were alot of tears and laughs (tear by me, laughs by the son.) I am still fond of Sawyer (and his glasses), and on the bottom of my like list is Shannon. I thought she was changing, but she's not. Everyone else is still in between.
BODY: Paul McKenna "I can make you thin." It's the new book I am reading. It's not a diet, it's all about how to deal with food and hypnosis. Once you finish the book, they is a tape at the end of the book you are to listen to every day for 1 week. I am half way finished the book and anxious to get to the end. Already I have noticed a difference in how I eat. Visualization is a big part. He uses alot of the same strategies from Louise Hay and The Secret. He also uses EFT which is the taping on energy spots on the body. That is the same tapping I do (although not as often as I should.) Anyway will keep posted on how this is going.
MIND: Louise Hay "Today I focus my attention on loving myself and trusting the Universe." And I believe that is what I am doing!
Good Night
