Day 187 - 178 Days to Go

Happy Valentine's Day and Happy Chinese New Year!!!!
That's alot for a Sunday. I think I'm getting a reputation even in my family. Bill bought me booze for Valentine's Day. They are these really good coolers called Pomatini's. They don't have the usual taste as coolers and alot less sweet! Met Dad for dim sum. Had a funny thought. There was a little bit of leftovers so I suggested to Dad he take them home and he wouldn't have to cook when he got home from the races. Bill didn't think Dad would want to take them, but he did. In the past, when ever we went for Dim Sum and there was leftovers, Mom would send them home with the kids. We would try and send them with her, but she always wanted the grandkids to take them. All this time Dad was probably thinking....."Hmmmm, listen to you children and lets take them!"
So stopped at Co-op for some Stampede burgers and Bill and the kids ran in to get some movies. I understand they got four and 1 game. Not sure when they are going to get a chance to watch all of them.
Took the son to fitness and came home and finished making the supper that the daughter had started. It was a nice meal. We all cooked together, ate together and cleaned together. I love those family dinners.
So we watched "Bucket List." It has Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson. I'm not a big fan of Jack's and even though this movie put him in a different light, it still didn't put him on my list of favorite actors. The movie is about two guys with cancer. I know it is a movie and all, but I just didn't feel comfortable watching right now. It was too similar to Mom Wee's story. She too had a bucket list, but there was only one item on it, and she was able to achieve it!!!!!

No LOST tonight. The son has a friend over and they are playing games. Just as well, as I've been sitting watching a movie, need to do something else.

BODY: More than half way through the book "I can make you thin." A lot of visualization techniques in this book. I am pleasantly surprised how well they work. Can't wait to get to the CD.

MIND: Quotes from the movie "Bucket List" Both of these quotes are quite poinant.
1) "I believe that you measure yourself by the people that measure themselves by you."
2) "Never trust a fart!"

Good night
Stacey
