Day 185 - 180 Days to Go

Well the daughter is home!! Maya was so excited to see her (as was I) First thing she wanted to do when she walked in the house was make chocolate chip cookies! Took the last of my butter, as I was going to make Bill a big cookie for Valentine's Day. Then she asked the following "When you die can I have the chocolate chip cookie recipe?" My suggestions, photo copy it now and don't wait for any big event!!!!!! Geeeez....
Worked this afternoon. It was so nice out. I would have liked to spend more time walking outside, but downtown is not the best place to enjoy the weather; unless it's on the paths somewhere.
After I dropped Sam off, I headed to the soccer dome. Thought maybe I would pop in and watch the son do some training, then realized it was so nice out, a quiet nap in the car would hit the spot. So that's what I did, and then for some reason I woke up, sat up and low and behold the son was walking towards the car. I must have been asleep for 1 1/2 hours.
That brought us to the evening. We all met (the Wee's and Traynors) at the Traynors for Chinese New Year Dinner. Dad had everything done before we got there. I was going to say it was nice to have everyone together, but there was one person missing, and she was missed alot.
So after dinner, the daughter headed out to meet friends and we all sat in front of the television to watch the opening ceremonies for the Vancouver Olympics. The overall presentation was nice. I felt really bad for the organizers though when the lighting of the first cauldron didn't work. Something mechanical went array and it made for a long and awkward moment. Maybe the world didn't notice. It was also a sad moment to hear about the luger who died on the run during the day.
So came home and you guessed it, "Lost" was on the agenda; two episodes in fact. Finally we seen the flashbacks for Hurley. I'm actually back on the fan bandwagon for Locke as well-making the cradle for Claire. So if this blog is a little late, that's the reason.

BODY: Did the stairs at the college both times again. And finally I'm not huffing and puffing anymore. That's a good sign.

MIND: Louise Hay "I fill my life with love." And people to bestow that on.

Good night
Stacey
