Hmmm, does it really matter what I have to say today. I bellieve everyone has one thing on their mind - hockey gold -. Yeah for the men's hockey team. I am stunned by the hype. Yes it is the Olympics, yes it is a gold medal - but think about it. They are the same NHL players that play all hockey season, only the teams have been mixed up a bit. It is off my opinion (and I know it's not share by many, least of all my own son) that the Olympics should not be for the professionals. There I said it. Not taking away from their medal, it was great hockey - but by more than just the Canadian and U.S. teams. Ranting done.......
My car is looking and smelling very nice. the son and I cleaned the inside yesterday and Bill took it for a nice warm bath this morning. Then on the way to fitness, the son took all of 10 seconds to put his dirty shoes up on the dash again. They didn't stay there very long; one smack and they were back on the floor.
Went out for a family February dinner. I had the honours of choosing the restaraunt. I decided to pick something out of the coupon book. And the winner was - Mother Tucker's. I hadn't been there since the daughter was a baby. Bad mistake on my part. It wasn't the restaraunt I remember. The only good part of my menu was the ribs. The service was slightly above bad. Next month will be Bill's choice.
Hope to get a few more baskets finished tonight. The son is convinced we need to watch another espisode of Lost, but I'm still shocked that Shannon was killed.
BODY: 7000 steps tonight (hopefully more before I go to bed) and I stopped eating at supper when I was full! What a nice feeling.
MIND: Louise Hay "My thoughts help me create the perfect working environment." In and out of the home.
Good night
