What a difference the sun makes. There was no sun first thing this morning, and I had a very difficuty time wanting to get out of bed!!!! I finally got out of bed for the second time around 8:30 am. I really wanted to get alot accomplished today, but I totally forgot I wasn't going to be home for most of the afternoon.
Quickly decided on a supper. And surprisingly once that was decided, the rest of the day seemed to be much easier to adapt to.
Worked at the Hamptons school again today. For the hour before lunchroom, I worked in the library with Ellen. I sure do missing working in the library. I know I'm weird but I love doing the taping of the books. I remember Judy from the Northhaven library used to let me tape until my hearts content!!!!!
After the Hamptons, I headed out to spent the afternoon with Matt. I gave him a couple of options on what we could do for the afternoon, but there was a hockey game on - US vs Switzerland. So that's what we did. My goodness that young man knows his hockey. He could be an annoucer for the games. He knows all the players names, what teams they play for; where they used to play for. He was really good at answering all my questions and didn't seemed to get annoyed at all.
Dropped Matt off to meet his brother and I headed home to put the rest of supper together.
I was going to go down for a quick nap after supper, but alas another hockey game. This one was Canada and Russia. I heard it was going to be a nail biter so thought I had better take a look. Seven, three was the final score, so not too much of a nail biter!! Then the son comes upstairs to see if I'll cut his hair again. I guess he's a sucker for punishment, or a very braver 16 year old. He let me do the designs in the side of his head again. I don't want to be around when he heads back to his hair dressers to have a real cut done!!!!
Well, the son wants to watch Lost, but I'm ready for bed, as I didn't get that short nap after supper. We started season two on Monday night!!!!!
BODY: Practiced the new dance for line dancing. That helped to get my pedometer over the 10,000 mark again!!!!
MIND: Louise Hay "I accept my uniqueness."
Good Night
