Got the laundry started first thing this morning. Let me rephrase that. Got the son's laundry started first thing this morning. Just as I was getting on my roll, the son thought it would be a good time to go for his toe x-ray. And what lesson did he learn there. If you're standing in line, don't leave the line to come ask your mother a question, because somebody else will walk through the door (or maybe two people) and you'll lose your spot in line; thus delaying your xray. Despite the slight delay, we were in and out of there in 15 minutes. The result - we don't know. They are going to send the results to the referring doctor, who works at the walk in clinic. Got to love this health care system.
Well we were at Market Mall, so might as well do a little shopping. Again let me rephrase that. The son might as well do a little shopping. Except for looking at a pair of black boots (necessity for my line dancing), the son did all the looking. He still has some gift cards from Christmas to use up. Went looking for jeans - came home with two PS3 games.
We did decide to stop for lunch. I just love the chicken caesar crepes. The son had the apple cinnamon desert one.
Supper was a treat tonight. We had our Chinese Fondue. That's usually what we have for supper on New Years Eve. It was nice and small tonight. We all sat at the island and enjoyed a cozy family meal.
Just for a side note: On the opposite day - day 165 with 200 days to go, it was jan 23 and it was also a Saturday - dodododododood
BODY: 14,000 steps today. (plus one blister on my toe). That with the rest of February totals over 216,000 steps. Sounds much more impressive that way.
MIND: Peter Greene - "As anyone who has been close to someone that has committed suicide knows, there is no other pain like that felt after the incident."
Thoughts and prayers to Marie Osmond for the loss of her son and the family of Andrew Koenig; both of which suffered from horrible disease "depression" and dealt with it the only way they thought possible.
