Is this week over yet?
So we haven't determined if the son's toe is broken or just sprained yet. And although you can't do much for either, it's been recommended we find out for sure to allow for a "plan." ie, if it is broken, then he should stay off of it longer (no soccer) due to reinjury. Now what are the chances of getting in to see our family doctor soon. Not good according the nurse at the clinic. She can squeeze us in tomorrow at 11:45 to see some doctor that I've never heard of. That's it for the week; no other openings. Good thing we're not dieing here. So we didn't go with that appointment. If we have to see a doctor we don't know anyway, we'll just go to a walk in clinic on our time. I know a longer wait; but....... So hopefully we'll have some new information by the end of tomorrow.
Had a great day at work this morning. It was crazy busy, but the kids were great. I didn't get pee'd on, but came close. Poor little guy got pee everywhere else but where it should have gone. Even the pull up was dry on the inside, but soaked on the outside. It should have been annoying but this kid has such a good demeanor and the cutest little face...... And I should know it's not called a penis, but a pee pee!!!!!!
Came home and had a quick nap. I don't think it really helped because Maya thought it was a good time to play. Made a quick supper for Bill and then headed out to pick up the son for soccer. No not playing, but coaching. I dropped him off and then picked up supper for Mom and I. We had a nice visit and I think she really enjoyed the fish and chips over the meatloaf that the manor was serving. I gathered any mail from her that I needed to file and headed to the line dancing lessons. My shirt was in. The lovely red gingham will surely fit my wardrobe style - at least during stampede. It was a cardio class and the steps on my pedometer prove that.
Stopped and picked up the son from Tech practice (and he was just watching) and took him home. Of course worked on the toe, and charlie horse and the hip flexer. Ice here, Ice there, Ice ice everywhere (or ice ice baby) I'm ready for bed. Would be nice if I could just relax tomorrow, but no such luck.
BODY: Over 13,000 steps today - work and line dancing always get me over.
MIND: Louise Hay "My healing is already in process." Is it just me or do these daily affermations just happen to coincide with my day!!!
Good NIght
Stacey
