Day 192 - 173 Days to Go

I can't believe I made it to 11:45ish pm.
Spent the better part of the morning preparing food for dinner. Worked this afternoon with Sam. Alisa and baby Caylee met us in the lobby. Oh my goodness can she get any cuter- (yes Alisa, I meant you..........) Too bad I felt a sore throat coming on or I would have grabbed Miss Caylee and smothered her in kisses. If you look up adorable in the dictionary - it should say Caylee. So we had a short visit and headed to class. Sam and I got alot accomplished in class today.
After class, we stopped by to pick up Auntie Iris and Uncle Wing. They were coming to our house for dinner. While we were waiting for them to come downstairs, Sam and I amused ourselves watching to magpies try and retrieve their dinner from the middle of 6th avenue. Not sure whether these birds would be considered smart or dumb. They never got hit by any vehicles while feeding on road kill (smart) but they kept coming back to take their chance on being hit (dumb). Like I said, it kept Sam and I amused for the 10 or 15 minutes we were waiting.
After I dropped Sam off at home we headed to our place. Dinner turned out to be a great success. The best part was my BBQ pork was the best I have ever made. Note to self, write down exactly what I did so I won't forget for the next time. The evening was filled with the presence of family, the smell of good food and the sound of some serious Mah Jong playing going on.
Around 11:00 I took Auntie Iris and Uncle Wing home. I didn't want them to get out of the car because when we drove by their building there were three fire trucks and four police cars surrounding their building. I drove around the block a couple of times trying to convince them to come back to our place or at least go to Ben and Karen's until we knew what was going on. But they wouldn't hear of it and assured me this happens all the time. Usually the fire alarm is pulled at least once a day. The lobby was full or people. So with much hesitation, I let them get out of the car. I waited until they made it to the lobby and I had asked Auntie Iris to call me at home when they got back to their place. Talk about a tough decision to make.

BODY: Got is 16, 278 steps so far. Pretty sure I won't be getting a whole lot more as bed time is not far away. Walked the steps at Bow Valley again today.

MIND: Louise Hay "The money that comes to me today is a pleasure to handle." That's really weird because the Stacey family stopped by to pay me for helping them out a couple of weeks back.

Good Night
Stacey
