Day 198 - 167 Days to Go

Is this week over yet!!! My house is a disaster; haven't done laundry in a week; and the dust bunnies are multiplying like - well bunnies!!!!
Busy day at work this morning. Between potty breaks and sparkle glue, class just got a little chaotic. I'm getting used to the "Mrs. Wee!!!! Mrs. Wee!!! Reminds me of when my kids were young Mom!!!!! Mom!!!!.
Spent the afternoon with Miss Caylee - I'm not going to be able to call her baby Caylee for very much longer. Why is it we always wish for them to get to the next stage and when they do, we wish they were still at the last stage. Anyways, Caylee is crawling, and when she wants something she gets there pretty fast. Maya was a little jealous again, and she followed Caylee and I where ever we went. After about an hour and a half, Caylee was getting bored; not fussy, just bored. She didn't want her bottle; didn't want to be held; certainly didn't want Maya, and she seemed a little tired. So, we decided to take the car ride early. I figured we'd drive over to Northland Mall and maybe run into Walmart. Before we even left our community, her eyes were closed and pink blanket snuggled up to her face. Hmmm, I thought to myself, might be a good time to go park the car and grab some zzzzz's like Caylee. Not.... as soon as I turned the car off - actually the music, her eyes opened right up. I tried singing thinking she might think the radio was back on-----I guess my singing isn't as good as I thought. Again, she wasn't fussy, just talking. Then the tooting started and Caylee started laughing. Now I'm starting to think ahead - should I leave her or change her. We had an appointment at the doctors and if she's stinky, I'd rather change her in the car. Usually I'm so organized, but throw at little one in there, and you are completly on their schedule. Finally the son joined us in the car and we headed out to the doctors appointment.
The son really should have been an older brother. He climbed right into the back seat when he seen his cousin. I was watching him through the rear view mirror and he's smiling (quietly) and making faces (again quietly) at Caylee. I'm not sure what Caylee was thinking (maybe nice haircut).
So we're in the clinic waiting for the son to come out from the doctors office. A lady (not much younger than me - ok quite a bit younger than me, but not really young) asks me if that was my grandson. Now, for Alisa's sake I was annoyed she thought Caylee was a boy - for crying out loud she was covered in pink from head to toe. Then for my sake - A grandma!!!!!! I wasn't wearing pasley!!!!
So then my phone rings. It was Alisa - and just as I was giving her the scoop, the nurse bluntly tells me - "NO CELL PHONES allowed in the clinic!!!" So I picked up Caylee, in her car seat, along with diaper bag and my large purse and we head just outside the door so I can tell Alisa what is going on - a total of 2 minutes.!!!!! You can have cell phones in hospital's now, why not a clinic.
Anyway, that was the afternoon. Grabbed 60 minute shut eye and then headed to the son's soccer game. I tried to run some errands so I would only catch the last half, but of course, plans don't always work out. The son didn't play (possible broken toe still) and the team won. It was hard to watch though, because the other team played quite dirty, and they had a coach who was very condicending to his players and ours!!!!!
So one episode of Lost was watched tonight. Season II, espisode 3. The hatch was supposedly going to blow up, but Jack saved the day again (I think) This is where it is really starting to get confusing.

BODY: Over 16,000 steps today, and my body feels it.

MIND: Louise Hay "The past is over." and tomorrow is another day!

Good Night
Stacey
