Friday was a crazy day!!!!! When I have to work in the afternoon, I just don' seem to get as much done in the morning. Although I finally got Bill's chocolate chip cookies made. The dough had been sitting in the fridge. (Thank goodness the son didn't eat all of it)
Worked with Sam in the afternoon. It was a hard afternoon. She had two tests to write and they weren't easy. Got home in time to put a few things together and then it was off to the son's soccer game. I'm beginning to realize like everything else in life, everyone has their own opinion. I spoke to 5 or 6 different people and everyone had a different view on how the game went. It only goes to show that the more eyes watching, the more you see. Hence, why a ref can't see it all. Our keeper had an amazing game. He's the only reason the game was so close, that and the fact the other team missed the goal 500 times. The son had a good game. He was disappointed in the outcome and more.
Came home after the game, got ready for bed and was under the covers by 9:30. Hopefully I'll have more energy for the entire Saturday.
BODY: My body told me I needed the sleep, so I gave it what it wanted.
MIND: It's easier to be a judge of something from afar, but trying being that same judge when you're in the middle of something (like a game)
