Ok, so I am a little early today. But I have good reason. Bill's Christmas party tonight and I'm pretty sure I won't have any access to a computer to get my blog in on time. Don't want to disappoint anyone. And despite being early, I have lots to tell.
Got up early to have a shower and get stuff done before it was time to pick up the daughter from the airport. Turns out her flight was delayed (that's why I check the schedules before I leave) by almost an hour. So I got some wrapping done, some laundry (needed a specific shirt for tonight) and a bit of cleaning up. Opps forgot to pack. So I go and get the daughter and she drops me off to get my nails done and she's off to have lunch with an old teacher from high school.
So I have been to this locations many, many times before to get my nails done. It's located on 14th street and Northmount Drive. But now it is under new management and I can honestly say, it is the best service and product I have ever had. The lady, Denise is very good. I went in just for some tips, but came out with a pedicure, tips and design on the tips. Not only do you get a pedicure, but she gives your feet and legs a massage. Then she offered to put designs on my tips as a christmas present. Denise and her husband have renovated the place. Two tv's, furniture has all changed. Very clean and sterile. I don't usually for back for refills, but I might just start doing that now.
1 1/2 hours later (the pedicure was very relaxing and not rushed) I walked out the door, and the daughter pulled up right at that moment. Good timing. So I was brought home, and then the daughter left to drive the son to soccer. Now I'm just waiting for Bill to get home so we can go. Oops forgot to pack. So first I'm going to do that.
BODY: The pedicure was so relaxing. My lower back became sore this morning and just relaxing in the massage chair has helped a bit. My entire body feels relaxed.
MIND: Louise Hay "I see my parents as tiny children who need love." (or in my case, my mom) How true. Take time to remember that Stacey.
Not goodnight yet, but it will be.
Bye for now
Stacey
