Monday - here and almost gone
Technically Monday starts at 12:00 am so I can include the fact I was awake for a couple of hours between 1 and 2 this morning. My first instinct was to come downstairs and watch some tv. No can do. We now have a cable box (digital something or other) I have no frickin idea how to work the TV (and I used to be able to lay on the coach and work the tv with no lights on) So I got up and went on the computer instead. Wrong move. That doesn't make you tired. I finally convinced myself to go back to bed around 3:00 am. Finally fell asleep and then it was time for Bill and the daughter to get up. One went to work, the other went to the gym. No use going back to bed as the son needed to be at soccer for 10:00. He is helping with the Christmas camps. But I had great intentions. Some of this needs to be censored just in case the son or daughter read the Blog (yeah right) Dropped off the son and went to XXXXXXX in XXXXXXXX. I thought it would be a good idea to get each of the kids a XXXXXXXXXXXXX. I had checked online and there were some inexpensive ones. So when I went into XXXXXX I couldn't find what I was looking for. Finally a salemans came along and when I mentioned I had seen XXXXXXXX on the XXXXXX website he checked out the website, and went in the back to find them. Note to self. Never assume the store doesn't have what's on the website. They just don't put everything on sale out on the floor. So I paid for the XXXXXX and I noticed that the details listed something about XXXXXXXXXXXXX. When I inquired the salesman said "I don't know?" That should have been my first clue, but the box wasn't very helpful. So I took my package to the car. I tried inquiring with one of the children without giving away what I was looking for (not sure if it worked or not) I realized after I hung up that I had the wrong XXXXXXXXXX. I wasn't prepared to walk back into the store and look like a complete idiot (I'll wait and do that tomorrow) So I decided to drive to XXXXXXXX Mall and look at XXXXXXXXX. Then I decided it was a dumb idea. So I called Bill and suggested XXXXXXXXXX. He agreeed, so that's what I did. Since I was already at XXXXXXXX, I picked up a little something for me from Santa. Can't wait to open it Christmas morning and try it out.
After that the day was a little boring. I went and picked up the son and took him to Brentwood to get his H1N1 that he decided he wanted. There wasn't a single parking stall in all of Brentwood. That should have been my first clue that the line up would be long. Didn't all these people go when they were supposed to. This day should have been for those people that were sitting on the fence. (like the son) Needless to say, we didn't stay inline for the three hour wait. We'll call the doctor's office and go in for less of a wait (keeping in mind, it still is a doctor's office). So the son picked up some lunch and we headed home. Good thing, cause the daughter needed my car. I had a quick two hour nap and then did my treadmill.
Almost ready for Christmas
BODY: Didn't wear my pedometer today, but got 30 mintues of the treadmill in and shovelled thd driveway.
MIND: Louise Hay "I am bright and smart and I can learn anything!" This probably has everything to do with my Christmas shopping disaster. And for the record, I did learn. "Go with my first instinct"
NIGHT

Stacey, it was only a 2 hour wait unless it got longer after 2:30!!
