Happy Easter - I just about missed it. If it wasn't for the son waking up this morning and saying " Morning Mom - Happy Easter - Where's my chocolate?" I might have missed the entire day. Thankfully the "Easter Bunny" had done some shopping a couple of weeks ago and happen to have a couple of Kinder Surprise Eggs lying around. The son came down with two and I mentioned that maybe one was for his sister. He was pretty sure they weren't, because no doub the Easter Bunny would have taken any chocolate straight to her down East. Good point.
Today was a very quiet day. It was too chilly to do yard work, so I got started on Mom's income tax. Darn, I think I'm missing a tax receipt. So next on my list. I am transcribing the tapes of the two of the physhic readings I had done. One of them was from 2006 at the Rocky Mountain Wine and Food Festival. At the time, I had tasted one too many spirits and seem to recall this physhic was off her rocker. Now as I play back the tape to transcribe, she did have a couple of things right on. Unfortunately she's no Clairvoyant Kim and was a little scatter brain. I guess if she hit 40% right that just makes her lucky.
The son and I watched a couple episodes of Lost. Still liking Sawyer; warming up to Juliette; Kate is not my favorite person right now; Ben is starting to seem a little more human; and Locke, well I don't think I'll ever know which side of the line he's on.
Tonight was dinner out with the Wee side of the family. Auntie Iris and Uncle Wing wanted to get the family together. Let's see if I can list people - (sort of a test for me) Wing,Iris,Harris,Lynn,Adrienne,Lauren,Brian,Anne,Jane,Susan,Mary,Bill,Stacey,Patrick,Yorkie,Paul, Al,Jean,Jeanette,Larry,Bryan,Kaitlyn,Linda,Nick,Jaryd,Devyn,Ryan,Victor,Zena,Tony,Kevin,Caiylee, Barney,Alice,Shayna,Lindsey.
It was a nice dinner and great get together. Mom was truly missed. Dad was quiet and didn't stay long after dinner. I think he was missing Mom too. I tried to organize for a big family picture. I can't wait to see the results. I don't we have done that in a very long time.
The son drove to and from the restaraunt. I was in the back seat. I can see why they call it a back seat driver. He was doing pretty good, but Bill was just letting him drive where ever. I got a little concerned on our way to Anne and Brian's. We had to drop some stuff off first so as we drove through Edgemont, the son asked if we had to turn yet. He has been to his cousin's place a million times (riding as a passenger) and he didn't know where to turn? What do these teenagers do when they are just sitting? I remember when he was 4 or 5 and we would drive to the Traynors and as soon as we got close to their turn, the son would say, "We're close to Jane's because my butt radar is going off." Obviously his butt radar is no longer working.
BODY: Didn't wear my pedometer today and I'm pretty sure I didn't hit the 10,000 mark. Best thing I did was at dinner, I only had tapioca soup for desserts and no ice cream!!! Yeah
MIND: Louise Hay "I see clearly."
Good Night
Stacey
